Marshal Su Captures Rebels

Washington, June 5. - Secretary Hay has received a telegram from United States Consul McWade at Canton, stating that Marshal Su has telegraphed the Chinese government that he has captured Kwei Choo, Kwangnan prefecture, on the Yunnan frontier, Tonkin. Mr. McWade says that the rebels have fled to the hills northwest of Nanning. He says that the troubles reported north of Lungchow, Kwangse, are not serious.
