One of the daintiest and prettiest weddings of the month was that of Miss Johanna Neumann and Karl Greiner, which took place at the home of the bride Monday evening at 5 o'clock.

Promptly at that hour the bridal party descended the stairs, preceded by the flower bearers, Masters Karl Neumann and Woldeman Schreiber, who were dressed in white. To the beautiful strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, played by Mrs. Emma Fischer-Cross, the wedding party entered the parlor and took their places under an arch of pink rosebuds and smilax, where the ceremony was performed by the bride's father, Rev. John Neumann.

Beneath the arch were banked palms, ferns, marguerites and smilax, which contrasted prettily with the gowns of the bride and her attendant. The bride looked radiant and charming attired in a handsome gown of batiste carried a shower bouquet of white roses. Miss Adele Neumann, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. She was gowned becomingly in white batiste and carried white carnations.

The groom was attended by William P. Ultes, of Springfield, Ohio. William F. Neumann was master of ceremonies. After the ceremony the guests repaired to the dining room, where a delicious wedding supper was served. Here the decorations consisted of white roses and smilax, the parlors being effectively decorated with pink and white roses and marguerites.

Mr. and Mrs. Greiner left on the 9:30 train for Port Huron. After spending a few days there they will return to Ann Arbor and make a short visit before going to Sparta, where for the past ten years the groom, who is a graduate of a Chicago medical school, has been practicing.

The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Metzger and William Metzger, Detroit; Rev. and Mrs. Schreiber, Master Woldemar and Miss Irma Schreiber, Grand Rapids; Mr. And Mrs. W.F. Neumann and two sons, John and Karl, Romeo; William P. Utles, Springfield, Ohio, and the Misses Martha and Maria Greiner, Sparta. Aside from these only a few intimate friends of the bride were present.
