SOME DOINGS IN WEBSTER

Webster. June 16.- Mrs. Ed. Ball spent last Friday in Ypsilanti. She went to attend the missionary convention.

Children's Day exercises were held in the Webster Congregational church on last Sunday. Nearly $8 was collected.

Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Alexander went to Jackson Saturday to visit friends.

A strawberry and ice cream festival will be held at Mr. and Mrs. Frank Williams' and Friday evening, June 27. All are cordially invited.

Misses Lillian Hillman and Katherine Georg, of Ann Arbor, visited at Mr. J. W. Alexander's over Sunday.

Will Burnett visited his sister. Mrs. Ralph Williams, several days last week.

Miss Esther Johntson, of Detroit, is the guest of old friends in Webster.

Miss Gertrude Chapman has closed her term of school and is at the home of her mother.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Smith entertained the Webster Farmers' club on last Saturday. Miss Hadley, of the School of Music, assisted in rendering an excellent program.
