For several years the Y. W. C. A. have conducted a rummage sale each summer and have disposed of a large number of articles at each sale.

The articles are contributed by persons who found no use for them or who were willing to give them for the benefit of the association.

People in cleaning house and in moving often come across articles of wearing apparel, furniture, etc., which they are glad to contribute and the sale of which furnishes money for the association and also provides poor people with the articles at a small cost to themselves, which they would not accept as charity.

Another sale was opened Tuesday at 110 W. Huron street with a large array of useful articles. If anyone having anything, large or small, which they are willing to give to the association, will notify Miss I. Markham or Miss C. Woodmansee the articles will be called for.
