STRANGE DISEASE AT BRIDGEWATER

Bridgewater, June 20. - The state veterinary surgeon has been requested by Benj. Feldcamp to examine into the cause of the death of his cattle. In the past three months he has lost about a dozen head of cattle from some unknown disease and he is now afraid that it is contagious.

George Boeltner has been buying walnut logs in Waterloo.

Willis Clarkson, of Ann Arbor, has been visiting at H. R. Palmer's farm known as the Poucher farm.

Lightning struck the hog house on the Joseph Lowery farm last Sunday and killed a large hog, part of the value of which the Southern Washtenaw will be called upon to pay.

Much damage was done to timber by the wind storm of Thursday before last. About $100 damage was done to the buildings at Fred Mahre's farm. Carpenters have been at work repairing the damage.
