TOOK HER TO THE ALTAR

David Prochnow Weds Miss Emma Fohey

HANDSOME BRIDEGROOM

He is the Popular Bookkeeper for C. F. Pardon of this City - The Wedding Trip

A very pretty and elaborate wedding was solemnized in Northfield Wednesday at 3 clock p. m., the contracting parties being David Prochnow, the well known bookkeeper of C. F. Pardon, and Miss Emma Fohey, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Fohey, of Northfield.

The bride was becomingly attired in blue broadcloth and white silk, handsomely trimmed, with white applique. She wore a large picture hat of white chiffon and carried a shower bouquet of white bridal roses. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Edna Fohey, who was gowned in blue cheviot and white silk. She carried a shower bouquet of pink carnations. The groom was attended by his brother, Fred Prochnow.

After the wedding ceremony a reception was tendered the newly wedded pair at the home of the bride's parents about 150 guests being present. After extending congratulations, the guests repaired to the dining room, where a sumptuous repast, in charge of an Ann Arbor caterer, was served. The dining room was effectively decorated with smilax, roses and carnations.

The bride received many beautiful and costly presents, consisting of furniture, silverware, linen, etc.

Mr. and Mrs. Prochnow left on the evening train for an extended visit in the east. They will be at home to their friends after July 25, at their residence on N. Fifth avenue.

Friends from abroad at the wedding were: Theodore Prochnow, Wm. Darrow and family, Robert Kuebler and A. Leduc, Ann Arbor; G. Prochnow, Jacob Peer and family, South Lyon; Mrs. Jas. Gore and daughter, J. D. Fohey, Toledo; F. Fohey and family, LaPorte, Ind.; Miss Kearney; Dexter; Mrs. Agnes Conklin, Howell.
