Miss Annette L. Ailes and Andrew R. Peterson were quietly married at the home of the bride, 319 S. Fifth avenue, Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The only guests at the wedding were the bride's sister, Mrs. Wm. Mahon and two sons, Ross and Will, and Andrew Madison, nephew of the groom.

The Episcopal marriage service was used by Rev. E. S. Ninde. The bride and groom stood before the southern bay window which was massed with potted plants and lovely blossoms, as the words were said which made them man and wife. After the ceremony light refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson left on the 4:58 train on the M. C. R. R. for a trip east.

Miss Ailes has for several years been the principal of the Elisha Jones school, and has lived in this city for a long time. Mr. Peterson was a member of the firm of Swathel, Kyer & Petserson, and is at present a director of the Michigan Milling Co. He is a man of sterling qualities and has a large number of friends who wish him a very happy married life.

The large number of valuable gifts which were received by the bride and groom attested to the popularity of both the bride and groom.

On their return Mr. and Mrs. Peterson will be at home at 912 N. Main street.
