Surprised Miss Krause

A party of young people, consisting of Misses Stanger, Krumm, Kuebler, Neumann, Schaible, Clara and Olga Bissinger, and Messrs. Kroll, Emerson, Goetz, Fischer, Stierle, Wiedeman and Ziefle, gave a tin shower to Miss Flora Krause Friday evening. The affair was a complete surprise to Miss Krause, and she found herself quite deluged with good wishes and kitchen utensils, as her friends came in upon her so unexpectedly.

The evening was spent in playing cards and other games. Light refreshments were served late in the evening.
