SHE WILL BE WOMAN'S DEAN

The position of Woman's Dean of the University has been filled by the appointment of Mrs. Frederick Jordan, of this city, to fill the vacancy made by the resignation of Dr. Eliza Mosher. Mrs. Jordan is well fitted for the duties which she will assume as Woman's Dean. She is a woman of exquisite culture and refinement and just such a woman as is needed to impress the young girls who come to the University with her sweetness and interest for their best welfare. The opportunities of the Woman's Dean are many and it is a foregone conclusion that Mrs. Jordan will make the most of them.

Mrs. Jordan is the wife of Frederick P. Jordan, assistant in the genera library. She received her education in the Battle Creek high school and at tended the University of Michigan for two years in 1899 and 1890. She has had several years' experience in teaching and has always met with marked success.
