The 'Masonic lodges of this city have for some time 'been talking of erecting a new Masonic temple. Á comrnittee, appointed some time ago by the joint Masnuic Imilics, met Wednesday evening to formúlate their report and deci-ded to reeommend tliat tlie building be built l'or Masonic purposes only. It was intended at one time to pnrcli.ist' a site for the new building on Main street and to devoto the first floor to stores and have the upper floors fitted up for lodge rooms, but since the cominittee have deemed 11 more advisuble to erect a building exclusively for Masonic purposes. A site will undoubtedly be purchased outside of the business district and optkra's on several pieces of p'roperty are being COllSidlTcd. ïhc buüding will be one of the most complete and beautiful Masonic temples anywhere in the state. It will be litted up witU club rooms, gymnasium bowling alley. line parlors, and the lodge and' drill rooms wHJ be of the Snest. ïhe building will be begun witliin the year, undoubtedly, and wheu flnished wlll add greatly to the attractive appearance of the city.
