This Combination Arouses Suspicion
POLITICIANS STAND AGHAST AT GREEN AND JUDSON
One Fathering Primary Election Law the Other Trying to Enforce it
Washtenaw county is going to try a primary election scheme to make local nominations, whereat the politicians in every other county stand aghast. When Gen. Fred Green fathers a reform law and Billy Judson offers to enforce it, all the outsiders are justified in entertaining judicial doubts of its efficacy. Friends of primary election reform have reason to suspect that Judson means to hoodoo their pet, and, like a vampire, gorge on the infant's life blood. If Judson can make the project odious, no other county will greatly desire to adopt it, and Judson can do that if anybody can. The novelty will be watched with interest. - Adrian Times.
