TRI-COUNTY FARMERS PICNIC COMMITTEE MEET

Their Annual Outing will be Held at Whitmore Lake - The Committee Appointed

Whitmore Lake, Aug. 2. - The TriCounty Farmers' Picnic committee met at the Clifton house parlors yesterday and decided to hold their picnic at Whitmore Lake on August 30. The committee was composed of L. D. Lovewell, of South Lyon, president; Jay G. Gray, secretary; E. E. Leland, Emery; C. Reeves, Dexter; Geo. Merrill, Webster; E. Nordman, Lima. The speakers for the occasion will be Geo. H. Durand, of Flint, C. E. Townsend, of Jackson, Samuel Smith, of Pontiac, and others. The cash to defray expenses was put up by our business men.

Music will be furnished by a band and two male quartets and Secretary Pray was instructed to have posters printed and posted. Ampie arrangements were made for the comfort of all and the committee promises the best picnic they ever held.
