Three Fingers Were Cut Off
J. Bradshaw's Fingers Too Near the Knives
Of the Deadly Planing Machine at Agricultural Works at Which Others Have Lost Fingers
J. Bradshaw, '04 lit, of Birmingham, who has been working at the Ann Arbor Agricultural Works during his summer vacation, met with a most unfortunate accident Friday morning. He was working on the planing machine, when in some way he got his fingers too near the knives of the machine and three of his fingers were severed from his hand. Dr. Arneill was immediately summoned to the unfortunate man's assistance and dressed the hand. This adds one more to the already long list of men who have lost their fingers while working on this machine.
