MRS. YOUNGS OF YPSILANTI ASKS FOR $12,000

She Makes Mrs. Burbank the Defendant in Suit She Begun Today

Monday afternoon Emma Youngs of Ypsilanti, through her attorney Lee N. Brown, brought suit for $12,000 against Emma Burbank, also of Ypsilanti.
In her complaint, Mrs. Youngs says that she resided at 108 E. Congress street Ypsilanti, on Dec. 3, 1896, the premises being owned by the defendant, Mrs. Burbank. That because of a defective sidewalk, leading from the rear of the house to an out-building, the complainant fell and was so seriously injured that later one of her twin babies was dead when born. She also claims that since that time she has been in such a physical condition as to be unable to work and believes hat she is injured permanently.
