Virginia, the three months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Parker, of 422 Packard street, died in Detroit Sunday of whooping cough, at the home of its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Gilbert.

Mrs. Parker has been visiting her parents in Detroit for the past three or four weeks. A few days after arriving there, the child contracted the cough, as also did its little sister, aged three years, who is now recovering.

The funeral was held from the Gilbert residence, 83 Brainard street, at 11:30 a. m. Monday. The remains were brought to Ann Arbor on the 1:38 train Monday afternoon and interred in Forest Hill cemetery.
