The marriage of Miss Emma Gwinner to Alfred Paul took place yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of the bride, 314 S. Ashley street, Rev. A. L. Nicklas officiating. The bride, who has for some time been book keeper for the Luick lumber firm, was gowned becomingly in a blue traveling suit with hat to match. She was attended by Miss Mary Walker, while the groom had for his best man Robert Gwinner. The house was prettily and effectively decorated for the occasion, and after the ceremony a delicious wedding lunch was served. Upon their return from a short wedding trip in the east, Mr. and Mrs. Paul will be at home to their friends in the handsome new residence recently erected by John Berger on N. Main street.
