The jury in Justice Doty's court Friday, found Anson Wright, the Broadway saloon keeper, not guilty of the charge preferred against him by George B. Rooney, who accused Wright of using indecent language on he street.
Justice Gibson represented the defendant, while Andrew J. Sawyer, jr., was present for the plaintiff. Rooney's own testimony was much against him, Sawyer, however, put up a strong fight for him, but it was of no avail.
