PRETTY RECEPTION ON DETROIT STREET

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stofflet gave a very pretty reception at their home on Detroit street Friday evening, the occasion being the third anniversary of their marriage. The guests were received in the hall by Mr. and Mrs. E. stofflet, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Francis Stofflet and Mr. and Mrs. Hoig, of Tecumseh.

About 50 guests were received during the evening. The rooms were decorated with artistically arranged bouquets of asters, pink and white in the parlors and purple and white in the hall. The dining room was dainty with its decorations of white asters, a large centre-piece on the dining room table being formed of this flower. Dainty refreshments were served by four little girls.

Mrs. Stofflet looked charming in the white gown which she wore on her wedding day.

This being the leather wedding, the many gifts which were presented by the guests were chiefly of leather. The guests join in wishing their hosts many more such happy anniversaries.
