Mrs. Child's Will To Be Contested
MRS. CHILD'S WILL TO BE CONTESTED
An appeal has been taken to the circuit court from the decision of the probate judge admitting to probate the last will of Mrs. Lucy A. H. Childs, of Augusta, by O. A. Ainsworth and Carlos W. Childs. The appellants claim that the will was obtained by fraud, misrepresentation and undue influence, the undue influence being on the part of Frederick Garrod and others. They claim mental incompetency and also that the instrument, admitted as the will, had been changed since it was executed in 1894, and that it was not properly executed.
It will undoubtedly be a hotly contested case when it comes up in the circuit court, the hearing in the probate court having lasted for several days.
