MICHIGAN DEBATE WITH WISCONSIN

Although the air is full of football talk, and there would seem to be no room for thoughts of anything else just at present, still there are other matters of importance brewing. We proved our supremacy at golf in the first inter-collegiate match ever held in the west, next Saturday we are going to show the would-be champions of the west a few points which they have never before observed about a certain college game; and on the same day arrangements will probably be completed for a debate to be held between Michigan and Wisconsin. Our hope is that we may deprive Wisconsin of even a fragment of comfort by winning this debate.

The challenge was recently sent to Michigan by Wisconsin and we accepted at once, leaving the arrangement of detail for the near future.

It has now been decided that representatives from both universities shall meet in Chicago on Saturday morning before the game to see to the final arrangements. Professor D. B. Frankenburger will act on behalf of Wisconsin, while Prof. Trueblood will take care of Michigan's interests.
