SALINE TO HAVE A NEW BANK

W. H. Davenport The Largest Shareholder

Capital $25,000, Divided Into 250 Shares of $1.00 Each.

 Saline is to have a new bank. Articles of incorporation have been taken out and this morning were filed in the county clerk's office. The bank is to be called The Citizens' Bank of Saline and has a capitalization of $25,000, divided into 250 shares of $1.00 each. W. H. Davenport is the largest shareholder, possessing 90 shares. Most of the shares, however, are distributed in lots of two.

    lt is stated in the articles of incorporation that the main business of the bank will 'be commercial and savings. For a long time citizens of Saline have been compelled to come to Ann Arbor to deposit their money and they are naturally delighted with the prospect of a new bank.  How much money will be taken away from Ann Arbor banks can not be accurately stated until after the bank has been in running order for some time.
