THE LIBRARY GETS BOOKS FROM ROME
The University library has lately received a very valuable consignment of books from Rome. There are 110 volumes, valued at $429, of the proceedings, transactions and memoirs to date of the Academy at Rome, dating back as far as 1847.
The Accademia Potificia and Memorie Pontifica were published from the presses of the famous institution of learning and have for some time been negotiated for by Librarian Davis.
The cataloguing room of the library has been fitted up with new cases and extension tables.
