Geo. W. Johnson, of Cleveland, O., who was here lat week spending Thanksgiving with his parents at 1121 E. Ann street, and who was one of the enthusiasts at the ball game, is one of the prosperous young colored men who have gone out from Ann Arbor. He just passed his 23rd birthday and was born in this city and attended the Ann Arbor high school. He made a study of physical culture and has for some years been an instructor in it in Cleveland, where he has an office at No. 202, The Arcade, and is known as Prof. Johnson. He is also a manufacturer of facial cream and pine tar soap and is one of the 15 stockholders in the Ben Bar Remedy Co., a corporation with $100,000 capital.
