Little four year old girl was on the witness stand today. 

Charles W. McCourt withdrew his plea of not guilty to the charge of larceny, in the circuit court Tuesday and pleaded guilty. He was at once sentenced to one year in the state house of correction at Ionia.

McCourt is the man who drove off with Gately and Co.'s wagon and rugs from Ypsilanti and left the rig at Saline, after disposing some of the rugs, skipping out. He was brought back from Ohio, where he had been serving a short sentence.
