Who Was Visiting Miss Northruy on Lincoln Avenue Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Jane Slayton, of Detroit, dropped dead while in the act of drinking a cup of tea with Miss Northrup at 1106 Lincoln avenue, Friday afternoon, Dec. 11. Mrs. Slayton was apparently in good health and her death was so sudden that it was Impossible to summon a doctor or give her any remedies. She leaves a husband and two children who were in Detroit yesterday. Mr. E. Slayton was summoned and arrived late last evening. The remains will be taken to Chilson, the burial place of Mrs. Slaytons family. She was 53 years of age and was born in the upper part of the lower peninsula of this state.
