Ann Arbor lodge, A. O. U. W., on Dec 11 elected the following officers:
Master Workman- Julius Koernke.
Foreman- Christian Wiegand.
Overseer- August Sinke.
Recorder - John Baumgardner.
Financier- John Kuebler.
Receiver- Gottlieb Schneider.
Guide - Charles Weir.
Trustee- George Haller.
Representative to Grand Lodge - Emanuel Spring.
Alternate- William Rohde.
Medical Examiners- Dr. M. L. Belser, Dr. John Kapp, Dr. E. A. Clark.
A draft for $2,000 was received from the grand lodge, being the amount of insurance carried by John Andres, in favor of his wife. Mr. Andres died December 1, so that very few days elapsed before the lodge paid over the insurance to Mrs. Andres. Besides this insurance, it is stated, Mr. Andres carried $ 1,500 other insurance.
