A Word To The Teachers
A WORD TO THE TEACHERS
I thinks perhaps I ought to utter a word of caution to the teachers of Washtenaw county in reference to the Teacher's Library Union. I am in sympathy with any movement that will induce teachers to do systematic reading in good books, and it is probably true that this would be one of the results of the work, but I think I should hesitate somewhat before entering into a four-year contract with a company to take such books that they should offer from time to time. However, this is a matter which each teacher must settle for herself. It would be well to take time to consider the matter and perhaps write the Commisioner.
