Farming Does Pay In Saline
FARMING DOES PAY IN SALINE
Who says "Farming don't pay?"
C. M. Fellows, of Saline, has just sold his crop of beans, grown on 15 acres the past season, at $2 per bushel, amounting to $477.25. The crop was secured in fine condition and sold at the highest price. He also harvested 624 bushels of wheat, secured with but little damage from wet weather, worth at the present market 70 cents per bushel, making a total of $914 from beans and wheat, besides the other crops and the stock on the place, the proceeds of which will equal $500 more. All this is from a farm of 120 acres in Saline township.
