ANN ARBOR CAPITALISTS

INTERESTED IN ELECTRIC LINE HILLSDALE TO BRYAN

George Clarken and MC Peterson Acting as Promoters-- The Line is 40 Miles Long

A dispatch from Montpelier, O., says: M.C. Peterson and George M. Clarken of Ann Arbor are here interesting the citizens in the projected Hillsdale-Bryan electric road. The route selected is from Hillsdale to Bawbeese lake, Steamburg, Frontier, Ransom. Pioneer, Dauglas, Montpelier, Jefferson and into Bryan. The right of way to the Michigan state line has been obtained, about fifteen miles, and no great opposition is expected on through. The distance by wagon road is thirty-five miles but the diversion of the road to touch different towns will make its length some forty miles. It will be financed by Ann Arbor and Detroit capitalists, and the line will be started as son as the franchises and right of way have been secured.
