CARL JANKE'S SKULL FRACTURED

Carl Janke was struck by a Michigan Central train at 3 o'clock Monday at Geddes, fracturing his skull and bruising him badly. He was removed immediately to the University hospital and Tuesday night was resting quietly. It is a severe fracture and the doctors only hope to be able to save his life. The accident occurred when he was walking down the tracks toward his home. He had been working for the railroad, but was laid of yesterday morning.
