The police are to stop coasting on the famous hospital hill, not only because of the prevalence of accidents but because the merry makers disturb the patients at the hospital.

There have been so many accidents during the last few days from coasting that many are becoming frightened but many more are enjoying the fun from the very fact that there is an element of danger in it, although there is no more danger than in any other sport if the participant is reasonably careful.

"It is all the fault of getting too tired," said an observer and a witness of a few accidents this year. "The accidents generally occur to someone who is fagged out or from fault of someone exhausted, and of course sometimes from carelessness.  If young people would go home when they get tired and have had enough they would not run half so much danger of getting hurt. This may seem odd, but I think that it is correct."
