President Angell, who is in Washington attending the annual meeting of the regents of the Smithsonian Institution, will attend the annual banquet of the Washington U. of M. alumni. There are 242 U. of M. alumni on the rolls of the association in the Capital city. The oldest member is James E. Cook, an employee of the weather bureau, who graduated in the class of 1854. Altogether, 42 classes are represented in the association. Mayor Maybury and Levi L. Barbour will also attend the banquet.

President Angell will proceed in Boston, where he will deliver an address at the Palmer memorial exercises. Returning, the president will stop in New York city and Ithaca, N.Y. He will not come to Ann Arbor until some three weeks later as he will have made a trip out west before returning. In the west there are many demands made upon President Angell's time at conventions, banquets, etc.
