Abram Wallace died at 8 o'clock a.m. yesterday at his home in Lodi. He was suffering from rheumatism and tobacco poison and had been confined to his bed since last July. He was a member of the firm of Rehfuss & Wallace, first in the meat market and more recently in the purchase of stock. He was 52 years of age. He was born in Canada and came with his parents to Lodi when 10 years of age. He was never married, but lived on the old homestead with his mother. There were fire (sic) boys and three girls in the family. The first of the boys died nine years ago and now there is but one left, William Wallace, of this city. He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Fred Krause of Ann Arbor town, Mrs. John Perry of Oscoda county, and Mrs. Potter of Shiawassee county. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday from the house.
