Refused To Permit Building

To Be Moved Within the Fire Limits

The Fire Commissioners Considered the Question of Permitting the Removal of Judge Cheever's Office to Main Street

The Board of Fire Commissioner held a meeting Monday and by a vote of two to one, refused to grant Judge N. W. Cheever permission to remove his small wooden office building from Fourth avenue to Main street, near William, to a point on the old Maynard property. This is within the fire limits and no wooden structure can be erected without permission of the fire commissioners.
