Announcement of Marriage of Popular Chelsea Girl

Miss Agnes McKune Will Marry Dennis B. Hayes of Detroit on April 15

The engagement has been announced of Dennis B. Hayes, of the firm of Hayes & Lawson, attorneys in the Whitney opera house building, Detroit, and Miss Agnes McKune. The wedding will be celebrated at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning, April 15, in Chelsea, Mich., the Rev. Fr. Considine officiating. A wedding breakfast will be given at the home of the bride's parents in Chelsea immediately after the ceremony, at which will be present the relatives of the contracting parties. The couple will then leave for New York, whence they will sail for a three months' trip through Europe. Miss McKune was private secretary for ex-Congressman Gorman while in Washington and has also been connected with the United States pension office in Detroit. Mr. Hayes is an Adrian boy, having graduated from the high school and Adrian college of that city, and later attending Georgetown university and the University of Michigan, graduating from the latter institution a few years ago. He is prominent among the younger members of the bar and has a host of friends not only in Detroit, but throughout Michigan.
