PAYING UP THE SALOON TAX

Forty-nine saloons had paid their licenses up to Monday noon to County Treasurer Braun. Last Friday $14,000 was paid in to the county treasurer. Ypsilanti seems to be behind in paying up as only 2 saloons from Ypsilanti have paid their license, while 30 in Ann Arbor, 6 in Chelsea, 4 in Milan, 8 in Manchester, 3 in Saline and 1 in Northfleld have paid up, besides two breweries.
