The D. A. R. held a very pleasant meeting on Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Woodbridge, S. Ingalls street.  There were 46 members present and all were deeply interested in a most excellent paper which was read by Mrs. Robert Campbell.  Miss Storrs and Mrs. Jas. L. Babcock sang several delightful numbers, which added greatly to the pleasure of the afternoon.  The house was prettily decorated with ivy and marguerites.  Light refreshments were served in the dining room by Mrs. Medaris and the Misses Conly and Clarkson.
