Received Diplomas from the Hands of President Angell - Dr. Vaughn Made the Address
The graduating exercises of the University Training School for Nurses were held Wednesday in the amphitheater of the hospital. Dean Vaughan delivered an interesting address to the graduating class on "Tuberculosis." After his address was ended President Angell made a few remarks to the young women and gave them some most excellent advice before bestowing upon them their diplomas.
The class consisted of 16 of the brightest young women who have ever gone out from the training school.
After the exercises a reception was held in the nurses' home and a good time was enjoyed. Dancing was indulged in. Root's orchestra furnished the music. A dainty supper was served, the undergraduates doing the serving.
