A very pretty home wedding was that at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Helber in Dexter town, Thursday, June 4, when their daughter, Miss Emma became the bride of Jacob Wurster. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Ida Helber, who acted as maid of honor. Martin Wurster asted as best man. The marriage ceremony was performed  by Rev. Mr. Weiser, of Dexter, the bridal party standing beneath an arch of smilax and myrtle. The bride's gown was a dainty affair of white Swiss mull, trimmed with val lace and insertion. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid wore a gown of linen trimmed in light blue and carried dark red Jacminot roses.

After the ceremony the guests were bidden to an elaborate wedding supper. The tables were prettily decorated in smilax and pink roses.

A large number of guests were present and all joined in hearty congratulations. The wedding presents were numerous and beautiful.

Mr. and Mrs. Wurster left on the late train for Grand Rapids, where they will spend a few days. On their return they will so to housekeeping al 913 S. Main street, in a home which has been furnished for them.
