VROMAN - - SMITH WEDDING

Miss Bessie Vroman, of Ypsilanti, and Mr. Bert Smith, of Jackson, were united in marriage Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Grey, of Maynard street. The ceremony was performed in the front parlor under a beautiful arch of feathery asparagus sprinkled with marguerites. Rev. Dr. Edward Ryan, presiding elder of the Ann Arbor district, of the M. E. church, read the simple but beautiful ring service. The bride was gowned in snowy white and carried white sweet peas. Miss Ethel Grey, carrying pink sweet peas, attended the bride. Mr. Frank Durbin, of Jackson, acted as best man.

A dainty lunch was served in the dining room immediately following the ceremony. Myrtle and sweet peas were used most skillfully in turning the dining room into a bower of flowers. A number of very handsome presents were received by the happy couple. With the best wishes of their many friends, Mr. and Mrs. Smith took the 8 o'clock train for Jackson, where they will make their future home.
