Farm House Burned In Augusta
FARM HOUSE BURNED IN AUGUSTA
The elegant brick residence of David Lindsey, in Augusta township, three miles east of Milan, was totally destroyed by a fire at an early hour Wednesday. Mr. Lindsey and wife were awakened about 1 o'clock this morning by a noise in the in the room adjoining their sleeping apartment and on going into it found it filled with flames. The entire contents, including clothing, were lost, the inmates having only time to save a few valuable papers. The origin of the fire is a mystery. The loss is placed at $3,000 with but a small insurance.
