Considering Pardons.

Niles, Mich., July 16.- The state advisory pardon board is here considering the following cases in which application for pardon has been made: Rodney B. Frisbie, under a thirty-year sentence in 1890 for criminal assault; Edwin R. Green, sentenced in 1893 for eighteen years for statutory assault; M. C. Huling, sentenced in 1895 to Jackson for ten years for a similar offense; Frank Ledger, sentenced to four and a half years at Jackson in 1900 for larceny; Ira Ashman, sentenced to ten years at Jackson for criminal assault; George B. Taylor, convicted in 1892 of murdering Mrs. Comley of Niles, serving a life sentence at Jackson. Taylor claims he is innocent.
