BURNETT STEINBACH THEREFORE ASKS FOR A DIVORCE

Wouldn't Go to Church, Get the Dinner or Eat what He Got--Finally Left and Has Not Returned

Burnett Steinbach has filed a bill for divorce from his wife, Ada Steinbach, alleging cruelty and desertion. The bill sets up a list of connubial wrongs which the husband claims to have suffered which are decidedly racy and extend over a long series of years, but which cannot be printed here. Among the less serious offenses Steinbach charges his spouse with is that in all the long years they lived together she never permitted him to kiss her. He also says that on one occasion when they were ready to go to church she was pouting and would not go. He went alone and when he returned his wife was sitting in the same place and with her hat on, just as he left her. She did not prepare any dinner, so he, as a dutiful husband should, got dinner and Invited her to come and partake, but she would not. He at dinner and later went to take a walk. When he returned she had departed. Since that time he has been getting along without her, although he several times invited her to return. He therefore wants a divorce.
