Milan, August 4.--Atty. G. R. Williams is just alive, with no hopes of recovery at this present writing. 

Mr. and Mrs. Camburn returned Saturday from a visit in Detroit.

J. C. Rouse is on the sick list.

The K. of P. Carnival, August 13 and 14, is a much talked of event.

Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Steidle are entertaining guests from Adrian and Caro.

Dr. and Mrs. Charles Robinson, of Ann Arbor, are visiting Milan friends.

Mrs. Charles Buxton is visiting her sister, Mrs. M. E. Edwards, at Willis this week.

George Minot has a new clerk in his clothing store, O. Davenport, from near Mooreville.

Charles Swick is visiting friends in Wayne. 

Mrs. Charles Kelsey is on the sick list.

Mr. and Mrs. M. Day are entertaining guests from Ypsilanti.

Mrs. E. Brown is visiting friends at Tipton.

Glenn Jones, of Detroit, was the guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Jones, south of Milan, over Sunday.
