Spanish War Vet Died Saturday

The death of Spencer Kent Frenen occurred Saturday evening at the home of his parents on Michigan avenue. He was 26 years of age, has been holding a good position in Chicago and arrived from there a few weeks since feeling unwell, but expecting to return after a short vacation. He was a student of the Ann Arbor high school and served in the Cuban war, enlisting with Co. G, 31st Michigan, and served until mustered out with his regiment. The funeral was held f rom the residence Monday at 3 o'clock p. m., Rev. Henry Tatlock officiating.
