Extensive alterations are being made on the second floor at Mack & Co.'s, the entire length of the building over Arnold's jewelry store being fitted up for the use of the manufacturing department known as The Ann Arbor Garment Co. No expense has been spared in procuring an up-to-date New York designer and very skilled New York workmen, who are revising facilities for the production of fine custom tailored skirts, suits and novelty silk coats. The line presented will be such as cannot be found outside of New York in point of style, workmanship and value, and no time is being lost in preparing a fine department for the special purpose of displaying custom garments of all descriptions. This will be connected with their present cloak and suit department by a large archway, and when fitted up will be quite metropolitan and the first of its kind in Ann Arbor. Announcement of their opening will follow shortly.
