The Death Of Mrs. John Rose
Mi. John Rose died at her residence, 220 w. Ann street, Saturday evening at 7:30 o'clock, after a three weeks' illness.
Mrs. Rose was one of the oldest and most respected residents of the city and was born at Brantford, Ont., Feb. 2, 1832. She removed to this city with her parents in 1842. May 1, 1852, she was married to John Rose, of this city, who survives her.
At the age of twenty she became a member of the Baptist church and bas been a faithful member ever since.
She leaves a husband and two children, Charles W. Rose, of Pittsfield, and Mrs. Geo. E. Waterman, of Ypsilanti. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence, the interment being made at Forest Hill cemetery.
