Mrs. Edward S. Campbell gave a very pretty reception Friday evening at her home on Washtenaw avenue to about sixty friends. The porches were lighted by Japanese lanterns, which were hung from the ceilings and about the railings. Great branches of golden glow were wound everywhere about the porches and huge bouquets of it stood at each corner.

The reception room and library were decorated with bouquets of tiger lilies. Dainty refreshments, in which the color scheme of pink was carried out in harmony with the sweet peas which adorned the table, were served in the dining room.
