Miss Lizzie Hutzel is on the sick list.

Miss Edith Henning and Miss Florence Hoffman, who were the guests of the Misses Mills last week, have returned to their home in Detroit.

Mr. and Mrs. Amos Lohr pleasantly entertained their friends and neighbors last Friday evening in honor of their thirteenth wedding anniversary. Dancing, cards and music were the features of the evening.

Miss Eva Swergel of Ypsilanti, is visiting Miss L. Hutzel at Walnut Place. 

Miss Bertha Wuerth of Ann Arbor, is the guest of Miss Belle Allmendinger.

George Pratt, who has been spending the summer at Walnut Place, returns next week to his home in Detroit. 

Mrs. Henry de Pew, who has been seriously ill, is slowly convalescing. 

On Wednesday evening, August 26, Pittsfield Union Grange will give a musicale at the Mills school, under the direction of the Worthy Lecturer, Mrs. C. E. Sperry.

Mrs. Chas. Kempf and daughter Louise spent last week with friends in Manchester.
