Death Of John J. Schulth
John J. Schluth, of Northfield, died quite early Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gottlob Schmidt. Mr. Schluth was 77 years of age and had lived at Scio the greater part of his life. For the past two years he has been suffering from cancer of the [throat], which finally resulted in his death. During his illness he made his home with his daughter. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Gottlob Schmidt, with whom he lived, and Mrs. William Reule, of this city.
The funeral was held from his late home Wednesday at 12:30 o'clock, standard time, Rev. Wm. Fischer officiating. [Internment] was made at Fair View cemetery.
